Simply set the target pH of your aquarium water, plug your solenoid regulator into the controller, and deploy the electrode probe in your aquarium - that's it! The contoller will automatically switch your CO2 on and off to maintain the target pH you have defined.

A pH controller can also be used as a fail-safe device to prevent accidental CO2 overdose by switching the solenoid off, should the pH drop too low.
