Aquarium CO2 Diffusers For Planted Tanks
Inline Atomizer CO2 Diffusers
An atomizer diffuser produces incredibly small bubbles of CO2, which vastly increases levels of diffusion into the aquarium water. Our range of inline atomizers are designed to be installed on the return / outflow tubing from a filter as the water is reintroduced to the aquarium. This means the CO2 bubbles are mixed with the water as it enters the aquarium, which ensures the bubbles are held in suspension for longer, resulting in further increased levels of diffusion. Available in various sizes to suit different tubing dimensions. Click here for tubing size advice
Bazooka Atomizer CO2 Diffusers
A Bazooka Atomizer diffuser produces incredibly small bubbles of CO2, which vastly increases levels of diffusion into the aquarium water. Our range of bazooka atomizers are designed for easy installation by attaching to the glass within the aquarium. Different sizes are available depending on the size of aquarium it is to be used.
For best results it is recommended to position the diffuser just above the substrate and beneath the outflow from your filter. This gives the CO2 bubbles maximum time as they rise to the surface, and are then dispersed around the aquarium as they enter the water flow from the filter, further extending the time the CO2 is in the water and can be diffused.
Spiral CO2 Diffusers
Why not turn your CO2 diffuser into a feature of your aquarium? With these beautiful hand-crafted sprial CO2 diffusers you can do precisely that! As the CO2 travels up the spiral within the diffuser chamber it creates a mesmerizing effect, and then emerges as tiny CO2 bubbles as it is forced through the ceramic disc at the top of the diffuser chamber. Available in a variety of sizes and with straight or petal rim designs.
Flat Bottom CO2 Diffusers
Flat-bottom diffusers provide a stylish option for pollen-type CO2 diffusers. Available in a variety of sizes for aquariums ranging from nano-size through to 500L. CO2 is forced through a white ceramic disc, which produces a mist of small CO2 bubbles. These small bubbles are more readily diffused into the aquarium water than a single large bubble, and therefore greater levels of diffusion are achieved.
Nano CO2 Diffusers
Nano diffusers were the among the first CO2 diffusers to be created, and their simple but effective design has stood the test of time and still a popular option for those making their first entry into the aquarium CO2 arena. CO2 is forced through a white ceramic disc, which produces a mist of small CO2 bubbles. These small bubbles are more readily diffused into the aquarium water than a single large bubble, and therefore greater levels of diffusion are achieved.
Mixer Reactor CO2 Diffusers
A Mixer Reactor Diffuser uses the outlet from a filter or pump to mix CO2 directly with the water before entering the aquarium. The design utilises dual impellers which are spun using the flow from the filter to achieve near 100% diffusion of CO2. Can be deployed internally or externally of the aquarium, and can accommodate 12/16mm or 16/22mm tubing.
Turbo Reactor CO2 Diffusers
A Turbo Reactor Diffuser uses the outlet from a filter or pump to mix CO2 directly with the water before entering the aquarium. The CO2 is trapped within the body of the reactor and is mixed with the water by a spinning impeller at the top of the unit, meaning 100% diffusion of CO2 is achieved. It can be deployed internally or externally of the aquarium.
Submersible Reactor CO2 Diffusers
Reactor diffusers provide excellent levels of CO2 diffusion by ensuring the CO2 cannot escape the reactor unit until it has fully diffused in the aquarium water. This type of reactor is installed within the aquarium.
