Aquarium CO2 Regulators For Planted Tanks
Our dual stage (aka two stage) regulators are made specifically for use with aquarium CO2 systems. All regulators incorporate dual stage design and adjustable output working pressure; ensuring they meet the needs of any aquarium.
Dual stage regulators adjust the output working pressure in accordance to the input pressure, which means that even if the input pressure increases, the output pressure will remain at the pressure you have set it to, completely negating any possibility of 'end of tank dump'. End of tank dump can occur when the liquid CO2 in the cylinder has been depleted, leaving only gaseous CO2, which increases the output pressure of the cylinder. This increased pressure can result in higher output pressure from the regulator, and therefore a higher volume of CO2 being added to your aquarium than you intended. A dual stage regulator ensures the output pressure from the regulator will remain constant, even if the output pressure from the cylinder increases.
The dual stage regulator also allows easy adjustment of the output pressure, meaning the regulator will meet the needs of any aquarium, and can supply enough pressure to operate multiple diffusers.
Our range of single stage regulators are fully compatible with all of the diffusers sold on our website. The integrated solenoid valve enables CO2 dosing at specified times and duration by means of a timer plug or pH controller. The dual gauge regulators display the cylinder pressure and output working pressure. Single gauge regulators display the cylinder pressure.
