Put your CO2 dosing on auto-pilot using a pH controller. Simply set the target pH of your aquarium water, plug your solenoid regulator into the controller, and deploy the electrode probe in your aquarium - that's it! The contoller will automatically switch your CO2 on and off to maintain the target pH you have defined.

A pH controller can also be used as a fail-safe device to prevent accidental CO2 overdose by switching the solenoid off, should the pH drop too low.

A drop checker is deployed within the aquarium and changes colour to reflect the level of CO2 in the water. This eliminates any guesswork as it enables the correct level of CO2 dosing for a specific aquarium. Our range of Drop Checker kits come with everything needed to install a high quality and accurate Drop Checker in your aquarium with the minimum amount of hassle.

The drop checker will turn blue if there is insufficient CO2, yellow if there is too much CO2, and green if there is a desired level of CO2 in the aquarium. It is useful to use a bubble counter to monitor the amount of CO2 being dosed to the aquarium, and enable accurate adjustment according to the colour of the drop checker.
