Description

The dual output fertiliser dosing pump provides the ability for automated, timed delivery of your aquarium fertilisers to your aquarium, providing your plants with stable levels of nutrients and elements required for superior health and growth.

Each output can be programmed individually both in terms of time of day and duration of dose. This means it is possible for the pump to deploy the full dose in one 'hit', or it can be spread across multiple 'hits' to ensure consistent nutrient levels, and not subject to sudden peaks and troughs. For example, if your daily dose of a fertiliser is 15ml, rather than apply the entire dose in one hit, the pump can be programmed to do 3 hits of 5ml spread evenly throughout the day.

The unit has a priming feature which enables quick and easy priming of the fertiliser using the peristaltic action of the pump. Setup is incredibly straightforward; simply connect tubing to pump and put one end in your aquarium and the other into the fertiliser solution.

Im not great with tech so I was a bit concerned Id not be able to get this setup properly but it came with good instructions and it was actually quite easy. Ive been using it for the past few weeks and Ive been very impressed with it and its great to now have all my dosing automated with this. Anything that makes my life easier Im happy to give it a try! I found the instructions a bit frustrating,they would benefit from being rewritten. Once programmed I monitored it’s output into a measuring glass over a week,four doses of 10mm very four hours. This proved to be very accurate an reliable making this a worthwhile purchase, It makes more sense to spread the dosage over a twelve hour period and must be more beificial to the aquarium.I would have given read more... The dosing pump is very easy to use. First calibrated, then simply say how many ml you want to dose, how many times per day. Makes dosing the nutrient solution much easier!
